Event Overview
what
A unique relay adventure in which a team of up to 12 runners covers a 200-mile course from Lexington, SC (Red Bank Arena) to the Firefly Distillery in North Charleston (just outside of Charelston). Runners will pass many iconic sites including Santee State Park, Lonestar BBQ, farm communities, lakes, and coastal waters.
Who
From casual joggers to serious racers, this event is great fun for everyone. Teams are made up of 4 to 12 people who split 36 legs.
Each team will provide support vans to drop off and pick up runners at designated Exchange Zones along the 200-mile route.
When
The race begins on Friday March 22 and goes through the night into March 23, 2024. Starting times will be staggered based upon each team's estimated finish time. Teams will start to finish the race around 11AM on Saturday and continue throughout the afternoon.
Course Details
36 legs of varying distance winding from near Columbia to the Charleston area.

Note: Teams should be able to average 10:15 /mi for the course. It is OK if some of your team members are slower than 10:15 /mi, but the average should be close to that. Contact us if you have concerns about your team pace.

Awards
We will award the top overall Full Team (7-12 runners), Ultra Team (4-6 runners), and Masters Team (all runners 40+), along with those in the team categories listed below. Team captains will select a team category during registration, but this can change before the race if the makeup of the team changes (this will be finalized when the team paces/start times are finalized).
Full & Ultra Team Awards:
Open - All male or less than 50% female
Mixed - 50% or more female
Female - 100% female
Masters Team Designation Awards:
100% of team 40 years old or older by the race start
Awards will be given in each of the above categories for Masters Teams
