Team Payment Option

• Captain registers and creates team and pays the full registration fee

• Team members will the register and join the team at no charge

• This method is generally the cheaper option for teams that will be at or near the higher threshold for team members (12 for Full /200 Teams, 6 for Ultra /200 Teams and Full /70 Teams and 3 for Ultra /70 Teams)

• Because full payment is made by the captain, the discount rate is locked in when the team is created

Individual payment option

• Captain registers and creates team and pays only one individual registration fee

• Team members will then register and pay individually when joining the team

• This method is better for teams that will be closer to the lower threshold for team members (7 for Full /200 Teams, 4 for Ultra /200 Teams and Full /70 Teams and 2 for Ultra /70 Teams)

• This method also allows the team captain to not have to gather money up front from team members before registering

• Because payment is made by each runner during registration, the cost for each member is the current rate at date of registration. So, not all members are guaranteed to register at the same cost.
